Martin Chautari (MC) is organizing the Chautari Annual Conference in Kathmandu, Nepal on 23-25 November 2022. The aim of this conference is to promote research culture in the humanities and social sciences in Nepal. MC invites submission of abstracts of research papers or abstracts of the theme-based panels from eligible researchers or institutions who will have completed their research by the abstract submission deadline. Special theme of the conference is “Histories of Nepal,” but abstracts and panels are welcome on other themes as well.

Sports-based Mental heAlth pRomotion intervention for adolescenTs in Nepal (SMART) is a 2-year research project that aims to develop and test the feasibility and acceptability of the implementation of a sports-based mental health promotion program to promote mental wellbeing, self-efficacy, self-esteem, and emotion regulation of adolescents. The project is being implemented by TPO Nepal, under the technical and financial support of King’s College London. SMART will be implemented in selected municipalities/rural municipalities of Bardiya district of Lumbini Province.
